On December 3, 2024, Chairman of the Industry Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Azamat Panbayev met with Adviser to the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Kazakhstan Su Yu.
On the Chinese side, the meeting was attended by the Third Secretary of the Chinese Embassy in Kazakhstan, Shiyu Wang, Third Secretary Han Shu and Embassy attache Ruiqi Zheng.
The participants discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of strategically important minerals used in environmentally friendly energy technologies, as well as the implementation of the memorandum of understanding signed in July 2024 during the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Kazakhstan.
In the future, the parties plan to organize meetings with delegations of Chinese companies and Kazakhstani enterprises. During these meetings, topical issues of cooperation between the two countries will be discussed.
The parties also agreed to implement a number of important measures aimed at developing ties between the two countries.
