Since the beginning of 2025, modern corners of "Taza Kazakhstan" have appeared in many libraries in Astana. These corners contain books, magazines and information materials about environmental education, environmental protection, and the preservation of cultural sites, according to the official website of the capital's akimat.
In addition, the corner includes a collection of books and scientific publications on ecology. Contests and meetings with young readers are also held.
The Taza Kazakhstan Corner has become a vivid example of how knowledge and technology can be combined to form an environmentally conscious society. The renovation of the library is a great celebration both for those who create and for those who enjoy creativity," said Saule Rakhimova, head of the mass library No. 15.
In particular, thematic book exhibitions are held: in the children's library No. 5 - "Taza Kazakhstan – Taza bolashaka zhol", in the children's library No. 8 - "We open the world of nature with a book", in the Specialized Library for blind and visually impaired citizens - "Tabigatty korgau – kasietti is", in the Central Children's and Youth Library library - "Ecology – el tagdyri".
At the same time, lectures and workshops on ecology are held in libraries, joint clean-up days, landscaping of adjacent territories, and garbage collection are organized. All activities are aimed at improving the level of environmental literacy among the city's residents.
The book collections are aimed at different age groups and include books for both independent and family reading.
