Sybaga Festival: craftsmen and ethnodesigners gathered in Aktobe

Today, in the Aktobe region, within the framework of the first organized Sybaga festival, the event "Dauir defilesi" is being held.
The second day of the festival is dedicated to ethnodesigners and craftsmen who create modern Kazakh national clothes.
The head of the region, Askhat Shakharov, spoke at the opening ceremony of the event, noting the importance of the festival. In his speech, he emphasized the key ideological attitudes and main directions outlined by the Head of State at the National Kurultai, and stated that the Sybaga festival makes a special contribution to the popularization of national traditions.
"At the third meeting of the National Kurultai, President Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich outlined the basic values that form the new image of our people. Among them are from independence and patriotism to respect for law and order. He expressed confidence that, based on these ideological principles, our country will take its rightful place in the rapidly changing 21st century.
Traditions are an inexhaustible source of progress for humanity. For the first time in our region, we are holding a festival of national traditions "Sybaga" during the week. Our goal is to show the youth and the younger generation how important it is to preserve the traditions and customs laid down by our ancestors and continuously popularize the best examples. The festival will last five days. Every day will be devoted to events aimed at promoting national spiritual values. It will end with a charity event," Askhat Shakharov stressed.
Aktobe craftsmen, seamstresses and jewelers lined up their products for the fair and exhibition in the Art Center decorated in the national style. The eyes are pleased with a variety of jewelry decorated with Kazakh ornaments, blankets, pillows and national clothes. The head of the region personally got acquainted with the author's works of each master. About 50 artisans were invited to the fair and exhibition.
Master classes were also organized for Aktobe residents as part of the event. Aizhan Abdubaitova (Almaty) held a lecture on the topic "Zerleu zhane koldanbaly oner", Aizhan Sembigalieva (Aktau), head of "Mangystau munarasy", told about capes, Bulbul Kapkyzy highlighted the importance of national clothes, and Aktobe jeweler Bolat Atyrau shared the intricacies of jewelry creation.
The second part of the festival will continue with the display of national clothes "Dauir defilesi". 15 domestic designers from Aktobe, Almaty, Aktau and Shymkent will present their collections in the national style here.
It is worth noting that the Sybaga festival is held in Aktobe and 12 districts of the region.
