The workshop is equipped with modern equipment and is designed to develop the professional skills of future specialists. There are offices for sewing, culinary and confectionery business, assembly of agricultural machinery and engines, as well as locksmith repair.
123 million tenge was allocated for equipping the workshop and dormitory with the support of the Education Department of the Abai region. In addition, the sponsors provided the necessary equipment. In general, about 400 million tenge has been invested in the development of the college in recent years. With these funds, the sports hall, dining room and workshops were renovated, and the heating system was updated. A new bus was also presented to the college.
The college was founded in 1959. Today, it trains skilled workers who are in demand on the labor market. The college has 314 students, 185 of whom enrolled in the 2024-2025 academic year.
As part of the initiative of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who declared 2025 the Year of Working Professions, a number of new projects in the field of technical and vocational education are being implemented in the region.
