2025 has been declared the Year of Working Professions in Kazakhstan. In honor of this, thematic bookshelves and exhibitions dedicated to working specialties have been decorated in Astana libraries, the official website of the Mayor's Office of the capital reports.
Within the framework of this event, thematic bookshelves and exhibitions such as "Murtebeli mamandyk" in the Central Children's and Youth Library, "Mamandyk tandau manyzdy is" in the mass library No. 6, "Mamandyk - omir tandau" in the children's Library No. 5 were decorated in 22 libraries of the KSU "Centralized Library System of the Akimat of Astana". and mass events that include literature on various types of work, biographies of prominent representatives of working professions, books on career growth, professional skills development, and personal success stories.
Meetings with distinguished representatives of working professions in the format of "Success stories" will also be held in libraries. The masters of their craft will share their personal professional experience, talk about the path to success and answer the questions of the participants.
Throughout the year, the city's libraries organize mass events: lectures, discussion clubs, film screenings and master classes aimed at increasing the prestige of working professions and popularizing diligence among young people.
