The Smart Astana mobile application combines more than 70 urban services in the fields of transport, healthcare, education, culture and even utilities. Through it, Astana residents can apply for admission to kindergarten without leaving their homes, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
Currently, the number of active users of the application exceeds 30 thousand people.
The Education application service provides a range of necessary services, including:
- The number of the kindergarten queue. In this section, parents can view the child's position in the queue and check the availability of directions (vouchers) for enrollment in a preschool institution.
- The Kindergartens section in the app allows you to quickly find the right preschool and get detailed information about it, including address, contacts and location on the map.
- Placement on the kindergarten waiting list. Here, an electronic application is submitted for queuing to wait for a free place in public and private preschool organizations.
- Rules for the prevention of bullying of a child. Parents are provided with a 13-page presentation that helps them recognize the signs of bullying, act correctly in such a situation, and protect their child when faced with bullying.
- Universities and colleges. This section will help graduates and their parents to view the list and find universities and colleges.
To ensure the safety of citizens, the application provides quick contacts of emergency services, the ability to receive prompt notifications about emergencies, road works, planned outages and other important events in the city. A feedback function with city services has also been implemented.
