In Akmola region, preparations for the flood period have entered an active phase. Special attention is paid to dredging and cleaning of reservoirs in the region.
On the Chaglinka river in the Zerendinsky district, work has been completed on the organization of 1 excavation, excavation of soil and a fertile vegetation layer. Work on the construction of the second excavation is being completed. In a few days, the contractor will dull the construction of the third excavation. The work is expected to be completed by March this year.
According to Ulan Kabdin, Director of Qazaq Union LLP, construction equipment will be on duty during the spring floods. The work is carried out in 2 shifts, with about 20 pieces of equipment involved. The total amount of work performed is 75%.
Akim of the region Marat Akhmetzhanov got acquainted with the progress of the work, who appreciated the quality and pace of construction.
"The Chaglinka River is located in close proximity to the regional center. Therefore, all work must be carried out efficiently and on time," M. Akhmetzhanov emphasized.
"These dams are one of the most acute problems of our rural district, which has not been solved for a long time. I am glad that the event is being held with the support of the region's leadership. The construction of the dam and the strengthening of the riverbank will have a positive impact on us, the villagers," Kabyken Duisenov said.
By the way, work is currently underway in the region to shore up and dredge the Zhabai, Chaglinka and Koluton rivers, and to build protective dams in the village of Zhibek Zholy, which will prevent flooding and ensure the safety of local residents. In addition, culverts are being reconstructed in the village of Damsa in the Shortandinsky district and at the Chapaevskaya dam in the Zhaksynsky district to increase their capacity and reduce the risks of flooding. The events are held at the expense of the Corporate Fund "Demeu Kazakhstan Kory".
