This year, the regional Department of Ecology conducted 27 inspections to monitor compliance with environmental legislation in the region, as a result of which 149 administrative cases were initiated. This was announced by the governor of the region Serik Shapkenov at a press conference in the Central Communications Service.

– By a court decision, eight enterprises that violated the rules were fined in the amount of 12 billion 193 million tenge. In 129 administrative cases, a decree was issued on the imposition of fines in the amount of 19 billion 419 million tenge. According to the plan, 965.7 thousand seedlings were planted on an area of 419.5 hectares this year. 78.9 thousand trees on 52.3 hectares were also planted in the city and other settlements. In addition, the volume of emissions into the atmosphere is decreasing in the region, S. Shapkenov said.
