The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the ICRIAP and the Government for Citizens State Corporation, is launching a project to create an accounting system for agricultural machinery within the framework of the unified digital information technology platform PSC 2.0.
The project was initiated in accordance with the Prime Minister's instructions aimed at simplifying registration procedures for agricultural machinery, as well as improving transparency and accessibility of public services for farmers.
According to Vice Minister of Agriculture Baglan Bekbauov, the accounting system for agricultural machinery in the PSC 2.0 IP will reduce the time required to provide public services, minimize errors in data processing and create a single digital space for accounting and registration of agricultural machinery.
The pilot launch of the main function for the initial registration of cars took place in August 2024 in Almaty and Kostanay. The system's capabilities were tested, including accepting applications through an electronic queue, taking into account social benefits for service recipients, checking documents and equipment data through a centralized database, and issuing digital registration documents.
Starting from the second quarter of 2025, all public services in the field of agricultural machinery accounting will be provided through PSCs. The list of services will include registration and re-registration of equipment, issuance of tractor driver's certificates, state registration of collateral and technical inspection.
"The digital format of service provision is an important step towards the modernization and digitalization of agriculture in Kazakhstan, which in the long term will contribute to improving productivity and supporting farmers in their daily activities," the Vice Minister said.
