Today, at a meeting chaired by First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Satybaldy, issues of the implementation of the national project "Comfortable School" and the republican environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan" were discussed.
As part of the national project "Comfortable School", it is planned to build 21 schools with 12,300 places in the region, of which 10 schools with 6,900 places are to be commissioned in 2025. In 2023, 19.6 billion tenge was allocated for the construction of comfortable schools, which were transferred to the account of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC. It was planned to use 21.3 billion tenge in 2024. 118.4 million tenge has been allocated from the budget of the Kyzylorda region for the preparation of design estimates for infrastructure works and state expertise.
Further, 1.7 billion tenge was allocated from the local budget. To date, infrastructure work on 10 schools has been completed. 2 billion 80 million tenge has been allocated for the improvement of adjacent territories and the construction of roads. Contractors have been identified, and work is underway.
In October last year, the region was one of the first in the republic to commission a 900-seat school on the left bank of the Syrdarya River in the city of Kyzylorda. In early January, two more schools were opened. Today, a 600-seat academic building has been opened in the residential area of KBI in the city of Kyzylorda. In the coming days, a 600-bed school in the Sayazhai residential area in the village of Zhanakorgan will be put into operation. The construction of the remaining 5 schools will be completed this year.
The region is also developing a regional plan for the implementation of the republican environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan", and comprehensive work is underway. Thanks to the sponsorship, the facade of 28 apartment buildings in the city of Kyzylorda was renovated using modern panels, and the courtyards of 20 apartment buildings were improved.
The sponsors allocated 1 billion tenge and 1 billion tenge from the regional budget for the reconstruction of the central square of the city of Kyzylorda. The building and the platform of the railway station were completely renovated. 80 playgrounds and sports grounds were built for children. A recreation park was opened in the village of Zhanakorgan, Zhanakorgan district, a Workers' Park was opened in the village of Nagi Ilyasov, Syrdara district, a central square was opened in the village of Zhanazhol, Karmakshi district, and streets were landscaped and illuminated in the village of Tan, Zhalagash district.
Funds have been allocated from the regional budget for the improvement of 17 courtyards of apartment buildings, the construction of 14 sports and playgrounds and the repair of 7 playgrounds. With the support of sponsors, the facades of 63 apartment buildings and 2 social facilities are being updated with modern materials. In rural areas, streets are also being improved, playgrounds and squares are being built.
All buildings in the regional center and other localities, including institutions, courtyards, playgrounds, bus stops, and lighting, have been brought into line with uniform architectural standards.
The "Best Village" competition is held annually in the region. In 2024, 1.5 billion tenge was allocated for these purposes, and the winning settlements received 48 units of special equipment. This year, 564.4 million tenge is provided for these purposes, which will be used to purchase 19 units of municipal equipment. Last year, utility companies and landscaping facilities were equipped with 73 units of equipment, and it is planned to receive another 33 units by the end of the year.
The "Best Yard" competition is traditionally held in the regional center and all districts.
