The intellectual game "Leader of the 21st Century", popular among schoolchildren, will return to TV screens, but in a new format. The Khabar Agency, together with the Daryn Republican Scientific and Practical Center of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, have begun reviving the mega-project. The intellectual game "Leader of the XXI Century" will be broadcast in the spring and will be broadcast on the Khabar TV channel.
This is not just a TV project, but a youth movement aimed at educating a generation of future leaders of the country. Hundreds of gifted students have already accepted the challenge and become participants in an exciting intellectual game. The qualifying stages in each region of the country started in October 2024 and will last until February 2025. Following the results of the regional rounds, the top five schoolchildren from each region will have a unique opportunity to participate in the republican stage, which will be held from March to June this year.

This TV version of the game, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Khabar Agency, promises to be a real celebration of intelligence and talent, where young talents will be able to demonstrate their knowledge and skills to the whole country. In addition, three finalists will receive grants to study at Kazakhstani universities.
The strongest five participants have already been determined in Pavlodar, Karaganda, Abai, Akmola, Turkestan, Zhambyl, West Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan, Ulytau, Kyzylorda, Atyrau and Mangystau regions, as well as in the cities of Astana and Shymkent. The qualifying stages in Aktobe and Zhetysu regions will be held in January. In February, the strongest will be determined in Almaty, Almaty, North Kazakhstan and Kostanay regions.
The Leader of the XXI Century is a unique platform providing new opportunities for young talents. Intellectual play not only introduces educated and motivated youth to society, but also serves as a powerful social lift for gifted young men and women from rural areas.
The TV project was first presented 25 years ago. During this time, he established himself as one of the best on Russian television. To date, many participants in this project have found their way in life and declared themselves as professionals in various fields: from art and culture to social activities and business.
