The owners of retail outlets in the Nura district were fined for selling naswai and snus

The Akimat of the Nura district, together with the district police Department, conducted another raid to identify the facts of illegal sale of prohibited tobacco products, the official website of the Akimat of Astana reports.
As part of the raid, business facilities located in large residential complexes of the district were checked. As a result, nasvai and snus were found in two stores.
Police officers seized about 20 packs of naswai and 15 packs of snus for a total amount of 12,250 tenge. The owners of retail outlets were brought to administrative responsibility and fined 98,300 tenge (25 MCI) in accordance with Article 196 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"Monitoring activities are regularly carried out in our area. Since the beginning of the year, 16 stores have been checked. Violations were found in 2 facilities, for which store owners were brought to administrative responsibility. We urge all entrepreneurs to refrain from activities related to the sale of prohibited goods," said Batyrkhan Dzhanpeisov, Chief Specialist of the Entrepreneurship Department.
Operational preventive measures are carried out by employees of the district akimats together with employees of the local police service of the Astana Police Department. The raids cover individual business facilities such as shopping malls and grocery stores.
