This was announced by the governor of the region Serik Shapkenov at a press conference in the Central Communications Service.

More than 49 thousand citizens are covered by employment measures in the region. 31,374 jobs have been created in the region. About 22 thousand of them are permanent. 1,637 citizens have been trained as part of the Bastau Business project. 822 families received social assistance. 291 residents of the region received an irrevocable grant in the amount of 428.1 million tenge.

– These measures have contributed to reducing the unemployment rate in the region and improving the social situation of the population. This year, it was assumed that 18,713 people would be released from the Bolashak future expansion project. As of November 1, 11,155 people were released, of which 4,104 (37%) were residents of Atyrau region. Due to the completion of the project, 90% of the released Atyrau residents received social support, S. Shapkenov noted.
