Five years ago, a program of rent-free housing for working youth was launched in Astana for the first time. She gave thousands of citizens the opportunity to save for their own housing for five years. They can now purchase apartments in the capital under the program
"Elorda Zhastary", reports the official website of the Akimat of Astana.
Since 2019, about 17,000 people have applied to participate in the foreclosure rental housing program for working youth for five years. Over three thousand apartments have been provided to them during this time.
Nurlybek Muratov was among the first recipients of the rental apartment. As a young specialist, he received housing in 2020. Even before the end of the contract, in a few years he was able to save up for the initial mortgage payment and purchase his own apartment.
"This program is very convenient and effective in terms of the fact that it is solvent for rental housing for working youth. The monthly payment is up to 10,000 if it is a studio apartment. The burden for me, as the father of the family, was not felt," he said.
Within the framework of the Elorda Zhastary program, priority is given to young people with valid employment contracts, as well as citizens under 35 working in the fields of education, healthcare, sports, culture, social protection, police and others.
The main condition is the presence of a permanent residence permit in Astana, the absence of real estate over the past five years and the corresponding income.
"They can find an apartment for up to 18 million people, and also the initial payment is 10% - 1 million 800 thousand and will be issued for 19 years, also at 5%. I think it's very profitable. They can also buy an apartment both on the secondary market and on the primary market," said Balzhan Kolganat, chief specialist of the capital's Youth policy department.
More detailed information will be published on the zhilfond website.kz and in the official accounts of the housing fund on social networks.
