The Kazakh delegation led by Vice Minister of Agriculture Yermek Kenzhekhanuly is taking part in the World Food and Agriculture Forum, as well as in one of the largest international exhibitions of the agro-industrial complex "Grüne Woche" in Berlin.
The delegation included representatives of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Germany, NC Kazakh Invest.
The delegation members actively participated in the panel session "Bioeconomics and Global Food Security".
The Grüne Woche exhibition has become a key platform for demonstrating innovative approaches to the development of the agro-industrial sector.
Yermek Kenzhekhanuly presented the opportunities of Kazakhstan's agro-industrial sector for foreign investment and cooperation.
To establish new business contacts, bilateral meetings were held with representatives of the European Commission, the leadership of German and international agricultural companies, and negotiations with key partners from Europe and other regions.
In particular, the Vice Minister met with the head of the Agrarian-Political Dialogue Y.Klaus and the project manager of ADT-project – consulting GMBH, U.Wedige, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Member of the Bundestag K. Muller.
Joint meetings have been organized with representatives of John Deere, DF Deutsche Forfait AG, BVVG, Innari and other large German companies.
On November 18-19, members of the delegation are expected to participate in the Berlin Conference of Ministers of Agriculture, which will discuss the creation of a Regional Center for Sustainable Agriculture for Central Asian countries.
