At the meeting, Deputy Akim of Astana, Yeset Bayken, congratulated the young winners.
"In the international arena, along with sports, education and science are of great importance. We are all happy and proud when we hear about the victories of Kazakhstani schoolchildren at the international subject Olympiad. And when we find out that these are schoolchildren from the capital, we get even more joy. The support of your parents and teachers is behind a lot of work. Just yesterday, Astana hosted the international Zhautykov Olympiad. The capital's schoolchildren brought 14 medals to the country's treasury, 8 of them gold. In general, last year, Moscow schoolchildren won prizes at international and national competitions and won about 500 medals. I would like to wish you to be worthy citizens of the country, tirelessly seeking deep knowledge!" said Eset Baiken.
It should be noted that the COPERNICUS International Olympiad is a prestigious competition that unites talented schoolchildren from different countries. Here, participants demonstrate their knowledge and analytical skills in mathematics, physics, and natural sciences.
