The traditional annual international XXI Zhautykov Olympiad has ended. The schoolchildren from Astana who took part in it won 14 medals, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
In the intellectual competition, which was attended by more than 700 schoolchildren from 15 countries, the Kazakh national team won 116 medals (21 gold, 33 silver, 62 bronze medals). Of these, Astana won 8 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze awards.
Gold medal:
1. Beksultan Sailaubai is an 11th grade student at the Bilim-Innovation boarding school for gifted boys;
2. Aldiyar Seitbai is a 10th grade student at the Bilim-Innovation boarding school for gifted boys;
3. Amir Kigash, 11th grade student at the Bilim-Innovation boarding School for gifted boys;
4. Margulan Sharel, 11th grade student at the Spectrum International School;
5. Amir Pshenbayev is a student of the 12th grade of the Spectrum International School;
6. Arthur Kim is a 12th grade student at the Spectrum International School;
7. Vladislav Posin is a 12th grade student at the Spectrum International School;
8. Nurgul Yesenbergenova is a 10th grade student at the Nur Orda Lyceum school.
Silver medal:
1. Sultanali Aliaskar is a 9th grade student at the Bilim-Innovation boarding school for gifted boys;
2. Temirlan Makishev, 11th grade student at the Bilim-Innovation boarding school for gifted boys;
3. Daniel Tulebaev is an 11th grade student at the Nur Orda Lyceum school.
The bronze medal:
1. Mukhamedali Zhumadil is a 10th grade student at the Nur Orda Lyceum School;
2. Nurmyrza Bayzhanov, 11th grade student at the Bilim-Innovation boarding school for gifted boys;
3. Beybarys Myrzash is an 11th grade student at the Bilim-Innovation boarding school for gifted boys.
