Another raid was conducted in the Saraishyk district of the capital to identify and suppress the facts of the illegal sale of tobacco and other non-smoking tobacco products, the official website of the Astana Akimat reports.
The raid was organized by the district akimat together with the Saraishyk police department. The participants checked 10 shopping facilities located in the area.
The inspectors revealed the facts of illegal trade in prohibited goods.
"Another operational and preventive measure was held aimed at combating the illegal sale of tobacco products, including nasvai and snus. During the inspection, it was found that one of the shops in the district was selling prohibited goods," said Saraishyk Gabdygasyr Shattyk, chief specialist of the Business Support department of the Akimat of the district.
As a result of the raid, the store owner was brought to justice under Article 196 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a fine of 25 MCI or 98,300 tenge was issued.
Preventive discussions were held with the store owners. They were reminded of the administrative responsibility for the sale of non-smoking tobacco products.
Such preventive measures are constantly carried out in all districts of the capital, violators are brought to justice.
