Today, on January 20, in the new 17th microdistrict of Aktau, a solemn opening ceremony of a new school was held within the framework of the national project "Comfortable School", implemented on the initiative of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
This is the second comfortable school opened in the Mangystau region since the beginning of the year.
The commissioning of the new educational facility was attended by the head of the region, Nurdaulet Kilybai, Chairman of the regional maslikhat Zhanbyrbai Matayev, public figures and veterans of education, representatives of state educational organizations and parents.
At the opening ceremony of the new school, veteran teachers noted that the educated generation is tomorrow and the future of the country, emphasizing the importance of the task assigned to teachers to provide them with high-quality and conscious education.
The new educational institution with a total area of 10,400 square meters is designed for 900 places. There are currently 1,908 students studying here in two shifts. 143 teachers are responsible for quality education.
The school is equipped with 53 modern subject classrooms. STEM laboratories, pottery, visual design, and choreography classes are provided to develop students' creative abilities. At the same time, the sensory room, the offices of the speech therapist, defectologist and psychologist are equipped with the latest equipment for schoolchildren with special educational needs.
A total of 13 new schools will be commissioned in the Mangystau region this year as part of the national project "Comfortable School". Among them, the construction of 4 schools with 4,500 places has been completed in the 17th, 19th and 33rd districts of Aktau city, as well as in the Khazar subdistrict of Batyr village, Munaily district.
