A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Akim of the region Nurlybek Nalibayev, at which the progress of the construction of the historical and cultural heritage center (Museum of local lore) was discussed. Responsible managers were given a number of instructions.
"The thematic concept of the museum should be approved, the exhibition halls should be decorated in a modern ethno-cultural style. Since the facility has a high tourist potential, its facilities and expositions must meet modern requirements. I suggest starting scientific research now. When the construction is completed, the exhibits should be ready. This is not just an institution serving visitors, but also a scientific and spiritual center equipped with information technologies," N. Nalibayev noted.
At the meeting, Rinat Kutdusov, architect-restorer, executive director of the Association of Historical and Cultural Heritage and Museum Affairs of Kazakhstan, presented the project of the center's internal exposition and voiced his proposals.
We remind you that 2024 has been declared the "Year of Ruhaniyat" (Spirituality) in our region, within the framework of which, in addition to cultural events, large-scale projects are also being implemented. During the year, "Rukhaniyat ortalyktary" — centers of spirituality, including halls for marriage registration, libraries, museums, archives, homes for youth, veterans and mothers - began to be built and opened in 7 districts of the region.
