Akim of the region Nurlybek Nalibayev held a special meeting on the issue of gasification of settlements, at which he gave a number of instructions to responsible heads and akims of districts.
"Providing the population with natural gas is one of the most important tasks. Gasification has a positive impact on improving the quality of life of the population and improving living conditions. The Department of Energy and Housing and Communal Services of the region, together with the akimats of the city and districts, needs to increase the volume of work on the development and implementation of gasification projects. KazakGas Aimak JSC announced that it is ready to invest 22 billion tenge in the region as part of a new investment program. We must consider all financing mechanisms for infrastructure projects from various sources. Ensure the high-quality implementation of the new investment program in our region. Control tariffs and take necessary measures to prevent their unjustified growth," N. Nalibayev said.
It is worth noting that last year more than 30 billion tenge was allocated for gasification projects, and the planned work was fully completed. Gas was supplied to 11 settlements in the region, the share of the population that was able to use natural gas reached 78%, and the number of gasified villages reached 46. Since the beginning of the year, the gas network has been extended to 4 settlements.
