On January 17, 2025, the resolution of the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan" on amendments to the resolution of the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 11, 2008 No. 573 "on approval of the rules for the selection of applicants for the international scholarship" Bolashak" and determining the directions of spending the international scholarship" Bolashak "was adopted, which approved the new rules for the selection of applicants for the international scholarship" Bolashak".
The resolution enters into force on the expiration of ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication.
The new rules for the selection of applicants for the international scholarship" Bolashak " provide for the renewal of competitive selection by introducing a sorting mechanism. Thus, candidates who have not scored the required number of points in accordance with this innovation will not be allowed to the next round.
In order to further improve the civil service apparatus, the category "civil servants" was introduced. In this category, civil servants are offered the opportunity to take language courses to participate in the master's program.
Also, graduates of the program are provided with the opportunity to redeem their work experience in international organizations of which the Republic of Kazakhstan is a member, such as the UN, UNESCO, SCO and TMO.
A motivation letter was included in the list of documents required for competitive selection. In addition, applicants who did not pass the competitive selection are granted the right to re-participate in the competition in the same calendar year.
In general, these changes are aimed at improving the international scholarship "Bolashak" and training qualified specialists in various fields of our country.
