Employees of the capital's emergency department carry out preventive work during the heating season and visit individual residential buildings, the official website of the Mayor's office of the city reports.
As a result of the preventive work, more than 1,500 families belonging to socially vulnerable segments of the population have been covered, and 308 carbon monoxide detection sensors have been installed.
Since the beginning of the 2024-2025 heating season in Astana, more than 120 raids have been carried out in residential buildings, during which 31 thousand residential buildings are covered by inter-courtyard control.
In addition to rescuers, local executive authorities, police officers and prosecutors, as well as representatives of Astana Zhastary volunteer organizations, take part in these preventive measures."Lider.kz ", "Red Crescent" and "Rope".
In addition, since the beginning of the heating season, more than 400 installed toxic sensors have been checked and orders have been issued for their supervision.
Residents were also warned about the need to check furnaces, boilers, heat generators and heating systems during the heating season, as well as other heating devices and systems used to heat the house.
