The Zhanasyl plant, which produces 80 thousand tons of cotton fiber per year, has been officially launched in Maktaaral District of Turkestan region. The company, located in the industrial zone, provides 150 people with permanent jobs and produces 600 tons of pure cotton per day. In addition, 180 tons of cotton fiber are processed per day.
The solemn event was attended by akim of the district Bakhyt Asanov, who sincerely congratulated the residents of the district on the opening of the production facility.
"In the development strategy of our district, we give priority to investment projects. The total cost for 2024-2030 is 94.1 billion rubles. it is planned to implement 53 investment projects in tenge. Of these, the total cost in the development of the cotton and textile cluster is 70 billion rubles. it is planned to implement 8 large projects in the amount of tenge. Through this, 3020 people will be employed, and an additional 1 billion rubles will be allocated to the budget. 862 million. it is assumed that tax revenues will be received in tenge. The plant opened today is one of our projects. So, I sincerely congratulate everyone on the opening of a new production facility! May our people be rich and prosperous!"said Bakhyt Nasyrkhanovich.
Today, the plant operates 13 cotton receiving stations in Maktaaral and Zhetysay districts. Since the beginning of the campaign, 41 thousand tons of "white gold" have been collected. Currently, the plant processes raw cotton, produces cotton fiber, cotton shit, cotton lint and ulyuk products and exports them directly to China, Turkey, Europe, Tajikistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan. It should be noted that the construction of two production facilities for the production of drip irrigation tape and the production of cotton seeds is underway at this plant.
The cost of the plant for the production of drip irrigation tape is млрд 1.5 billion. it covers 25 people with permanent jobs. And the cost of the cotton seed processing plant is also 1.5 billion rubles. it is planned to provide 17 people with permanent jobs. Both projects will be launched in 2025.
