KazATIU, Kazakhstan agroholding Aitas and the Ministry of Agriculture of France implemented an educational project Agrisen.kz . The main goal of the project is the development of human capital in agriculture by updating the knowledge and skills of specialists.
The presentation of the project was attended by Vice Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Erbol Taszhurekov, French Ambassador to Kazakhstan Sylvain Guillaume, French Ministry of Agriculture Attache for CIS countries Marie-Agnes Amos, Vice President of Aitas Agro holding Rabigatoxeyitova, heads of agricultural companies, farmers, representatives of educational institutions and experts.
"This event is of particular importance for Kazakhstan. Agriculture is one of the key sectors of our economy. The training of qualified and professional specialists in this field is our top priority," Yerbol Taszhurekov said at the event.
French Ambassador to Kazakhstan Sylvain Guillaume announced that the Agrisen project.kz is aimed not only at strengthening food security, but also at developing the economic potential between the two countries.
"We are ready to implement new projects aimed at the development of the agro-industrial complex. Kazati is proud of its long–term cooperation with French partners - AgroParisTech and Agreenium organizations. This collaboration provides our students and teachers with access to advanced technologies, unique experience and best practices of French scientists," said Kanat Tireuv, Chairman of the Board, Rector of KazATIU, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The project provides for the introduction of the experience of world experts, improvement of educational methods and training.
The parties signed a memorandum of cooperation between KazATIU, the French Ministry of Agriculture and AitasAgro LLP. This document will become the basis for the further development of joint initiatives of Kazakhstan and France in the agricultural sector.
