A meeting of the subcommittee on intergovernmental consultations and security cooperation between Kazakhstan and China was held in Beijing.

Beijing, January 22, 2025-Kazakhstan and China held inter-foreign consultations, as well as the 13th meeting of the subcommittee on security cooperation. The Kazakh delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of foreign affairs of Kazakhstan Alibek Bakayev, and the Chinese delegation was headed by Assistant Minister of foreign affairs of China Liu Bin.
During the political consultations, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation, considered the progress of the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest and highest levels.
Particular attention was paid to the importance of joint efforts to strengthen trade and economic, transport and transit, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, as well as to increase Kazakhstan's non-primary exports to China.
The parties discussed upcoming events, including mutual visits planned this year.
At the meeting of the subcommittee on security cooperation, the parties exchanged views on ensuring regional and international security. The participants of the meeting got acquainted with the results of the work done since the previous meeting in November 2023.
Following the results of the events, the parties signed the minutes of the 13th meeting of the subcommittee, developed joint proposals for further deepening cooperation and confirmed their commitment to strengthening the eternal comprehensive strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China.
