This year, raids are also being conducted in all six districts of the capital to identify the illegal distribution and use of vapes and vaping. During the month, more than 60 outlets were checked, more than 30 facts of the sale of non-smoking tobacco products were revealed, including clandestine workshops for the production of tobacco, the official website of the Astana Akimat reports.
Operational preventive measures are carried out by employees of district akimats together with employees of the local police service of the Astana Police Department. The raids cover individual business facilities such as shopping malls and grocery stores.
According to the results of the raids, the fact of the sale of nasvai was recorded in the Yesil district. The store owner was brought to justice and fined 25 MCI, which is 98,300 tenge.
During the raid measures in the Nur district, preventive explanatory work was carried out in 16 business facilities located in residential complexes of the district. As a result, nasvai and snus were found in two stores. Police officers seized about 20 packs of naswai and 15 packs of snus for a total amount of 12,250 tenge. All violators were prosecuted under article 196 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and a fine of 25 MCI was imposed.
Similar work was carried out in the Baikonur district in five business facilities, as a result of a raid at 2 points of sale, they were brought to administrative responsibility in accordance with Article 196 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (CAO) with a fine of 25 monthly calculation indices (MCI), and about 1.5 kg of hay was seized.
Four business facilities located in large residential areas were checked in the Almaty district. 1 fact of illegal trade in nasvai and snus was revealed. In addition, preventive discussions were held with the store owners. The guards recalled the strict ban on the sale of non-smoking tobacco products, warning of administrative liability for such violations in accordance with Article 196 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The same check was carried out in the retail outlets of the Saryarka district. During the raids, avenues of the Republic, Pobedy, Goethe, A. Moldagulova, Y.Dukenuly streets, etc. were covered.
During the raid, 10 shopping facilities were checked in Saraishyk district, the facts of the sale were revealed and the store owners were brought to administrative responsibility in the form of a fine.
Also, during the raids, a preventive conversation was held with owners of small and medium-sized businesses about preventing the sale of non-smoking tobacco products.
As a result of the raids, shopkeepers were brought to justice under Article 196 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Kazakhstan and fined 25 MCI or 98,300 tenge.
Raids are continuing in all six districts of the capital.
