German companies ready to invest in Kazakhstan

The Kazakh delegation, headed by Vice Minister of Agriculture Yermek Kenzhekhanovich, took part in agricultural events in Germany and held strategic negotiations.
During the visit, meetings were held with German minister of Agriculture Cem Ozdemir and Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of food and Agriculture of Germany O. Nick. The meetings discussed the creation of a Regional Center for Sustainable Agriculture for the countries of Central Asia and bilateral cooperation.
The idea of creating a Regional Center for sustainable agriculture was first proposed during the official visit of the president of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Germany in 2023.
The Kazakh delegation held talks with representatives of leading German companies such as John Deere, DF Deutsche Forfait AG, BVVG and Innari. During the talks, joint projects in the agro-industrial complex and opportunities for investment in the economy of Kazakhstan were considered.
On January 18-19, the delegation took part in the 16th Berlin Conference of Ministers of Agriculture and the International Exhibition "Grüne Woche". Kazakhstan presented the agro-industrial potential and investment opportunities at the exhibition, discussed the prospects for cooperation with international partners.
As a result of the visit, the high interest of German companies in investing in the agricultural sector of Kazakhstan was confirmed.
