Akim of Astana Zhenis Kasymbek wrote about the facilities under construction on his Instagram page, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.

"We are systematically working on the operation of additional life support facilities in the capital. They provide the city with heat, water, electricity, etc. Thanks to the facilities that have been put into operation - the Turan and Ontustik-Shygys gas heating stations, and the first stage of CHP-3, the heating season in the city is underway in regular mode. These life support facilities have provided the city with more than 1,100 Gcal/h of energy.

A new gas heating station "Telman" is being built in the coming years to provide the city with additional heat. Currently, construction and installation work is underway on the foundation and piles. This project will provide 80 thousand more residents of the capital with stable heat. We plan to complete the construction of the Telman CHP in 2026.

Similarly, this year we plan to complete the long-term construction of CHP-3. The first stage of this facility was completed and put into operation in the fall of 2023.

We are also systematically working on power grids. We are building a number of substations. For example, the Aray substation is 96% ready.
This project will provide Astana with uninterrupted high-quality electricity with a capacity of 80 MVA. We will complete it in the first half of this year.

In addition, we are constructing the "Kazybek" substation. This project will provide the Temirzholshyl settlement with reliable and uninterrupted electricity with a capacity of 80 MVA. The facility is planned to be completed in 2026.

The quality of life in the city depends primarily on the operation of life support facilities, - wrote the akim of the capital.
