The soloist of "Kazakhconcert" Aigerim Altynbek became the winner of the international opera singing competition in Italy.
The international competition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of composer Giacomo Puccini gathered 70 participants from all over the world, including Kazakhstan, Japan, China, Korea, Russia and Iran.
The award ceremony was held at the prestigious Villa Borromeo in Arcore.
Aigerim was recognized as the best among the finalists and received a scholarship from the Municipality of Arcore, as well as the opportunity to take part in a large-scale concert in Italy in 2025.
It is worth noting that Aigerim Altynbek also took third place at the Nikolai Giaurov International Opera Singing Competition in Modena. This equally significant event attracted a large number of viewers. Our compatriot was awarded a special prize named after Mirella Freni, the famous Italian opera singer, and also received a role in the opera "Sister Angelica" at the theater in Varna, Bulgaria.
Thus, her success in the international arena continues to inspire and delight opera fans.
Aigerim Altynbek graduated from the Kazakh National University of Arts with a degree in Vocal Art, class of Associate Professor Tatyana Nikolaevna Rudneva. The opera singer has repeatedly become a laureate of international and national competitions (Italy, Finland, Lithuania, Russia, Germany and others).
