Minister of Tourism and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerbol Myrzabosynov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Kazakhstan Eva Pulano and discussed the potential of cooperation in the field of Tourism and sports.
At the meeting, the parties worked out issues of strengthening cooperation, such as the development of winter sports, joint training camps and the exchange of experience between athletes.
"Cooperation between the two countries in the field of sports is developing every year. Sweden is considered one of the world's superpowers in terms of winter sports. In March 2024, the National Ski Team of Kazakhstan held a training camp in Falun, Sweden. Our athletes returned with a lot of experience. In the future, we propose to exchange experience in winter sports and conduct joint training camps more often," the Minister of Tourism and sports said.
Yerbol Myrzabosynov also stressed the importance of developing ties in the field of tourism, noting that this sector has a significant impact on the development of the economy.
The minister noted that Kazakhstan intends to continue working with Sweden on the development of new joint projects in the field of Tourism and sports and hopes for a long-term and productive partnership.
