As part of a working trip to China, Kazakh Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov met with the head of the General Customs Administration of China Yu Jianhua. The meeting on the Chinese side was also attended by Deputy Head of the State Technical University of China Wang Lingjun, heads of a number of departments and divisions of the State Technical University.
The parties discussed cooperation in order to increase the Kazakh-Chinese trade turnover, including the approval of new products for export to China, the inclusion of Kazakhstani enterprises in the Register of Importers of China and other issues.
"Today's meeting is an important step towards strengthening trade and economic ties. I am confident that our joint efforts will contribute to fulfilling the instructions of our leaders and achieving new results," the Minister said.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to cooperate on solving operational issues within the framework of the working group.
