The capital's volunteers held another campaign to clear snow in the yards of elderly Astana residents. The event was held as part of the environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan", the official website of the Akimat of the city reports.
The volunteers of the Astana Zhastary Youth Resource Center, together with the akimat of the Baikonur district, continue to clean snow from the yards of the elderly as part of the Taza Kazakhstan campaign. On the eve of the capital, volunteers held another event to clean the adjacent territory of retirement homes.
"As part of the Taza Kazakhstan campaign, we are constantly helping elderly residents of the city to remove snow in their yards. A lot of snow has fallen in the city over the past week, so we gathered again to do another good deed," said one of the volunteers, Yerasyl Tolendi.
Volunteers helped to remove the snow to a pensioner living on Lermontov Street.
"I want to express my gratitude to our volunteers. They cleared the snow from the yard together and very quickly. Many thanks to all the participants of this kind action," Elena Nikolaeva thanked for the help.
