A meeting of the Regional Commission for the investigation of intermediary schemes for food pricing chains was held.
The regular meeting of the Regional Commission, chaired by Deputy akim of the region Kuanysh Suleimenov, was attended by representatives of the Departments of entrepreneurship and industrial and innovative development, agriculture, deputy mayors of cities and districts, chairman of the Department of trade and consumer protection of Abay region, JSC "SEC "Semey", as well as representatives of wholesale and retail trade.
The meeting discussed measures to curb prices for socially important food products (NPM), the results of the activities of the Regional Commission and the ongoing work on the sale of vegetable products, in particular potatoes.
During the meeting, instructions were given to provide the region with potatoes at social prices, consider the possibility of increasing the area of vegetable products, including potatoes.
In addition, the deputy akim of the region instructed to take special control over the maintenance of the price of the NPM.
