This year, in the Akmola region, the amount of payments to veterans in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II has increased. Veterans of World War II will receive 5 million tenge each. Currently, there are 5 war veterans living in the region.
According to the Department of Employment Coordination and Social Programs, payments are also provided to citizens equated to veterans of the Great Patriotic War. They will receive payments of up to 30 monthly calculation indices (MCIs).
