A seminar on the theme "Astana - a Clean City" was held in the capital's creative hub "OzgeEpic" as part of the large-scale eco-campaign "Clean Kazakhstan" to bring together cultural workers and discuss current environmental issues. The event participants considered modern waste management methods, reducing the use of plastic, introducing "green" technologies, as well as city improvement projects, the official website of the city administration reports.

The seminar was part of the implementation of the "Clean Kazakhstan" concept, aimed at developing the environmental responsibility and culture of city residents. The format of the event included lectures, discussions and practical workshops, where participants received information about waste recycling, storage and the use of environmentally friendly technologies.

"People's responsibility for the environment has increased. For example, many yards and government institutions have containers for separate waste collection. "Last year, more than 100 events were organized with the support of the Department of Culture, and this year about 150 events are planned," said Yermek Agabek, chief specialist of the Department of Culture and Arts Development of the Astana City Department of Culture.

Special attention was paid to the joint actions of society, the state and private sectors to maintain the cleanliness of the city.
