On January 24, 2025, at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, baritone Demetrio Colaci, professor of the academic vocal department of the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Music in Milan, held a master class on the topic "Belcanto technique and interpretation of opera parts."
Maestro Demetrio Colaci is a famous performer and teacher who has performed on leading stages of the world and is engaged in teaching. His master classes are in great demand among students of music schools from all over the world, as the professor teaches not only technical skills, but also a deep understanding of musical interpretation.
The master class was devoted to discussing the intricacies of academic vocals and the features of performing the main parts in famous operas. The event was intended for students, undergraduates and teachers of the vocal arts department of the conservatory to improve their vocal technique and performance skills.
The participants practiced working with the voice, correct breathing and the peculiarities of singing technique by working with a world-class specialist.
The meeting is a continuation of the maestro's successful cooperation with the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory. It began with two-day intensive classes with students of the vocal arts department in May 2024.
