Over the past five years, the district's medical institution has been supplemented with new equipment, which has significantly affected the quality of medical services.
During a working trip to Mugalzhar district, the head of the region visited the district hospital and got acquainted with its work, upcoming projects, and the quality of services provided.
The head physician of the hospital, Sabit Keulimzhayev, said that the medical institution has been operating since 1989. There are 74 medical workers on staff. About 600 people are served daily. The hospital is designed for 100 beds, and there is also a day hospital for 30 beds.
Over the past five years, ten special vehicles have been purchased for the hospital, including four intensive care units. At the beginning of this year, a modern digital mammograph was purchased, which significantly increases the accuracy of diagnosing diseases.
Much attention is paid to improving the conditions of patients and nursing staff. Last year, work began on improving the hospital's territory. 129 million tenge was allocated from the local budget for the implementation of the project. The work will be completed by the summer.
Also, a project for the construction of an additional building to the hospital is being developed, where it is planned to open a center for percutaneous coronary intervention. This will allow for effective treatment of cardiovascular diseases without sending patients to the regional center.
Askhat Shakharov saw the new equipment, visited the psychological assistance office, and talked with residents of the district who came to see doctors. The villagers expressed their gratitude for the attention paid to the development of healthcare and improving the conditions for medical services in rural areas.
As part of the national project "Modernization of Rural Healthcare", new outpatient clinics are being built in villages, modern equipment is being purchased, and conditions for doctors and patients are being improved. Currently, five projects aimed at the construction of rural outpatient clinics are being implemented in the region. When the facilities are put into operation, medical services will be available to the population. This means that villagers will be able to receive treatment in their place of residence. In addition, we will equip district hospitals with modern digital equipment, thus ensuring high quality medical services for the population. It is planned to open a center for providing assistance to patients with heart attacks and strokes. All these measures are aimed at improving the conditions for receiving quality medical services and increasing the availability of diagnostics for the region's residents," the regional akim said.
The regional head instructed to accelerate the preparation of a construction project adjacent to the hospital and called on contractors to complete the improvement work on the hospital territory in a high-quality and timely manner.
