The National Food Corporation Company has agreed on cooperation with strategic Chinese partners within the framework of the official visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan to China.
In particular, at a meeting with representatives of the state-owned Chinese corporation Citic Group in Beijing, Managing Director of JSC NC Food Corporation Rustam Zhanatayev discussed the possibility of building a plant for deep processing of grain and oilseeds in Kazakhstan. In case of commissioning of the facility, the national grain operator is ready to supply agricultural products of domestic farmers on a permanent basis to load production. At the first stage, the annual volume of supplies may amount to 300 thousand tons of agricultural products.
In order to continue working together, the parties consolidated the agreements with a memorandum in the presence of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aidarbek Saparov.
During the round table with the participation of the largest agro-industrial enterprises of China, Rustam Zhanatayev invited potential investors to participate in the forward financing program through the Food Corporation.
"The advance payment of Kazakhstani farmers under the guarantees of the national grain operator will ensure the supply of grain and oilseeds on time and at fixed prices," he explained.
A similar experience has already been tested by Turkish companies interested in importing Kazakh lentils.
Also, following the results of bilateral negotiations, the Food Corporation and the Chinese Jiangsu SOHO HoldingsGroup signed a contract for the supply of Kazakh feed barley in the amount of up to 200 thousand tons.
JSC NC Food Contract Corporation is a state grain operator. Provides food security and stabilization of the domestic grain market, provides financial support to agricultural producers, and also supplies grain for export.
