Fish rescue operations continue in the Baksai water channel. By the morning of January 21, more than 2 million fish had been rescued. In total, 8.5 million fish had been rescued in a few days.
45 employees and 8 pieces of equipment were involved in the work. The rescued fish, weighing 5-6 grams, are being transported alive to the Ural River.
The operations are ongoing. The situation is under the control of the Ural-Caspian Interregional Basin Fisheries Inspectorate.
