Commercial agreements worth $8.2 million were signed at the Kazakh-Kyrgyz Business Forum in Bishkek

From December 1 to December 3, 2024, a trade and economic mission of Kazakhstani exporters was held in Bishkek, organized by the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, QazTrade together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As part of the mission, 30 Kazakhstani companies representing various industries held B2B negotiations with Kyrgyz partners. On December 2, in Bishkek, on the eve of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Council, the Kazakh-Kyrgyz business forum was held, which became an important platform for discussing prospects for bilateral cooperation. The forum was attended by representatives of 80 companies from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The program of the forum included B2B meetings, as well as an agreement signing ceremony. As a result of the TEM and the forum, 7 commercial agreements worth more than $8.2 million were signed, which was an important step to strengthen economic ties between the two countries.
The Kazakh delegation was headed by Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Torebayev. The event was also attended by representatives of business and government agencies.
