33 gymnasts of the specialized children's and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve No. 1 of Astana city akimat showed excellent results at the international tournament in the United Arab Emirates, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
At the competition, the Capitals athletes glorified Kazakhstan by winning 17 gold, 26 silver and 26 bronze medals in sports gymnastics.
The best gymnasts from the USA, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Lebanon, Russia and Kenya took part in this tournament and competed at a high level. However, Kazakhstani athletes showed special skills in all-around, cross-country jumping, cross-country, log, stretching and free exercises and received well-deserved awards.
Following the results of the competition, young gymnasts of the capital proved their high training and strengthened the prestige of the sports gymnastics school of Kazakhstan in the international arena.
"This victory is an important step of our country in the field of gymnastics. The combination of young talents and experienced athletes who took part in the tournament is the result of their perseverance and enthusiasm.
