Two sports facilities were undergoing major repairs. Akim of the region Askhat Shakharov visited them and inspected the progress of the repair work.
"In the Chaika basin, court proceedings are currently underway with Gradstroyservice LLP, which carried out major repairs of the building. But despite this, by the decision of the commission, we are opening this institution. The Dostyk sports complex was also under renovation. By February 1, the contractor completes the work. And next week we are opening two swimming pools so that the children can continue their studies," the governor of the region commented on the situation.
The overhaul of Dostyk IC was carried out by Altair-SK 7 LLP. The cost of the work amounted to 388.12 million tenge. The repair of the Chaika swimming pool cost the budget 287.05 million tenge.
Gradstroyservice LLP has not completed the work in full. A lawsuit was filed against the contractor.
It is worth noting that in order to ensure a continuous educational and training process, contracts were signed for the rental of private pools, where young swimmers practiced during the renovation.
