The planned gasification of residential areas continues in the capital. Today, on January 25, the connection of the Family Village residential area to the natural gas supply system was completed, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
The initial start-up of gas into the distribution networks of the residential area was carried out by the Astana production branch of QazaqGaz Aimaq JSC, where 458 households received access to gas. This step is part of a large-scale city gasification project aimed at improving the quality of life of the population and the environmental situation.
As part of the project, 8.7 km of gas distribution networks were laid and 277 gas distribution cabinets were installed.
Household expenses for utilities related to heating will decrease significantly. In addition to environmental safety, natural gas is a more affordable and convenient fuel, which reduces the financial burden on households.
"Gasification of Astana is a strategic project that improves the environmental situation and reduces the financial burden on the population. We see real results and are glad that another residential area has become a part of this process," said Rakhymzhan Altynbek, head of the gasification department of the Akimat of the city.
Earlier, the akimat completed the construction of two gasification lines, which made it possible to connect consumers in the districts of Saryarka (railway stations Koktal-1, Koktal-2, Agrogorodok and in the old part of the city near Potanina Street), Almaty (Railway station, Industrial, South-East right side, South-East left side, International, as well as in two neighborhoods "Akbidai", "Kazakhauyl"), Saraishyk (residential areas Kuigenzhar and Michurino), Yesil (Vella Village, Courchevel railway station, Family Town, Family Park) and Nura (Budapest railway station, Cosmic City).
The construction of gas supply networks to the Turan, Telman, and Yugo-Vostok gas heating stations and to the residential areas of Urker, Prigorodny, Family Village, Ondiris, and Kirpichny was also completed.
