Vice Minister visited Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions

Vice Minister of Emergency Situations, Major General Kegen Tursynbayev, paid a working visit to the Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions and got acquainted with the state of the material and technical base of the M. Gabdullin Civil Defense Academy, as well as the progress of flood prevention measures and the improved working conditions of personnel.
During the visit, the Vice Minister visited the academy's training center, held a meeting with cadets and the leadership of the educational institution, discussed current issues and possible ways to solve them. The Vice Minister instructed the specialized departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to provide the necessary support to strengthen the material and technical base of the academy.
In addition, Kegen Tursynbayev got acquainted with the work of fire stations in the Akmola region, including the station in the village of Krasny Yar, and gave a number of instructions to improve the working conditions of employees. Currently, the fire station in the village of Sadovoye, Zerendy district, is undergoing current repairs.
During the visit to the North Kazakhstan region, the process of strengthening protective dams and water networks was reviewed, where active work continues to reduce the risk of flooding. The results of work on strengthening protective dams in the villages of Teplichnoye and Pribrezhnoye in the Kyzylzhar district of Petropavlovsk, and the protective shaft in the village of Bolshaya Malyshka were reviewed. In addition, the Vice Minister got acquainted with the work of the Petropavlovsk and Sergeev water networks, the sites of blasting operations on the Yesil River in the Yesil district, assessed the progress of strengthening and modernization of the first lifting station of Kyzylzhar Su LLP, and visited the SMB group Family LLP enterprise, which produces polypropylene material for the construction of dams.
“Our task is to ensure the safest conditions for the work and activities of the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as protect the population from possible natural disasters. A number of topical issues related to strengthening the infrastructure, as well as improving the working conditions of our specialists, were studied. "The Ministry of Emergency Situations will continue to support and develop all training and operational units to increase their efficiency and readiness for emergency situations," the Vice Minister noted.
At the end of the visit, a number of instructions were given on the further implementation of preventive measures to protect the population and the territory from possible flooding, and the requirements of the Minister of Emergency Situations were conveyed to increase the efficiency of the work of rescuers, improve the material and technical base and working conditions of personnel.
