With the agreement of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Meirambek Zhanbolatovich Makhambetov was appointed head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Aktobe region.
He was born in 1989 in Aktobe, has a higher education: in 2011 he graduated from the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov with a degree in Regional Studies, and in 2014 from the Kokshe Academy with a degree in Physical Culture and Sports.
He began his career in 2011 as a referent of the Sports Committee of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2011-2014, he worked as an expert in the Department of Legal Support and Administration of the Sports Committee of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an expert and chief expert in the Department of Mass Sports Development of the Department of Physical Education of the Agency for Sports and Physical Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2014-2018, he worked as a chief expert in the Department of Mass and Non-Olympic Sports Development, Head of the Department of Administrative and Personnel Work, and Head of the Department of Winter Sports of the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2018-2020, he headed the departments of physical culture and sports of Aktobe region and youth policy of Aktobe region.
In 2020-2024, he served as the head of the Department for National Sports and Work with People with Disabilities in Sports of the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the director of the Sports Training Center for People with Disabilities, and the executive director of the Professional Football League of Kazakhstan.
Since January 2024, he has served as the President of the Republican Deaf Football and Futsal Federation.
