Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Nurzhan Nurzhigitov met with Shimon Ben Hamo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Israeli investment company Dan Capital.
The parties discussed the implementation of joint projects for the construction and reconstruction of hydraulic structures in Kazakhstan. Today, Israeli engineers have inspected 4 reservoirs and made proposals for their reconstruction.
The parties discussed the issues of modernizing the Yntymak reservoir in Zhambyl region and increasing its volume. The minister also proposed modernizing the irrigation canals of the Sarysu district, introducing modern water-saving technologies.
Israeli investors expressed their readiness to implement a joint project with Kazakhstani companies. The foreign delegation also proposed organizing advanced training courses for Kazsuchar specialists in Israel.
“Further discussions will continue within the framework of a joint working group. Experts from both sides will consider the technical component of the project. "The working group will also determine the direction and topics of advanced training courses for our specialists," said Nurzhan Nurzhigitov, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation.
