At the initiative of the President, this year has been declared the Year of Working Professions in Kazakhstan. Special attention is paid to the work of technical specialists who play an important role in ensuring the vitality of cities. Among them are employees of Astana-AEK JSC, which provides the capital with uninterrupted electricity, the official website of the city administration reports.
One of the employees of the enterprise, senior foreman of the Baikonur district power grid (ZHE), Darkhan Ybash, has been working in the energy sector for more than 10 years.
Darkhan graduated from the university with a degree in "Electric Power Engineering". He has been working at Astana-AEK JSC since 2012.
He started at the enterprise as a 3rd-category electrician. He constantly improved his professional skills and earned the respect and trust of his colleagues thanks to his hard work.
"Despite the adverse weather conditions, the time of day and other difficulties, we accurately fulfill the assigned tasks. Our main task is to ensure reliable and high-quality operation of district networks,” said Darkhan.
He emphasized the importance of the President’s initiative to support working professionals.
“I am glad that 2025 has been declared the “Year of Working Professions”. This initiative will not only demonstrate the importance of working professionals, but will also help attract young people to technical professions, which is very important for the development of our country,” says the master.
