Teachers from Karaganda region competed in the theory of the Kazakh language and literature and shared their thoughts on how to effectively teach these subjects in schools.
43 teachers from cities and districts of Karaganda region participated in the regional stage of the Lyazzat Baiishkyzy “Best Ideas” competition. All of them became winners of the regional stages of the previous competition. Teachers who teach in Kazakh and Russian were sent to participate.
The regional competition consisted of three stages. In the first, participants had to write essays. In the second, they had to answer questions on the theory of the Kazakh language, as well as name works of Kazakh classics from excerpts. The third round was devoted to discussing pedagogical ideas and teaching methods.
Asem Kyzyrova from the Karaganda Sattarov School-Lyceum took first place among teachers teaching in Kazakh.
- In general, the tasks were complex and interesting. To answer correctly, you need to know the theory of the language and the works of Kazakh classics in depth. I received an excerpt from the epic novel “The Path of Abai” by Mukhtar Auezov. In the third round of the competition, I shared my ideas about the importance of implementing the “Integrated Education” program, which Kassym-Jomart Tokayev spoke about at the second session of the National Congress. Such competitions are very important. Thanks to them, we, subject teachers, can exchange experience and share ideas. This is very valuable and necessary for young specialists, - believes Asem Kyzyrova.
Among teachers working in schools where Russian is taught, Zhanar Toleugazy, a teacher from the Bauyrzhan Momyshuly Karaganda Primary School, took first place.
