A modern school for 80 places has been built in the village of Petrovka, Sandyktau district, the internal policy department reports.
In the last week of January, a special event took place for about 60 students of the village, who are studying in the first to ninth grades - they began studying in a new school building with bright and spacious classrooms. Before that, children had to study in an old school built more than a century ago.
“In order to implement the instructions of the Head of State, 9 comfortable schools were built and put into operation in the region. The construction of the school in the village of Petrovka was slightly delayed due to certain reasons, due to difficulties on the part of the contractor. The regional akim personally visited the construction site and gave specific instructions on the prompt commissioning of the new school. In a short time, a new contractor was found and specific requirements were set for the quality and timing of construction. As a result, the school was completed in less than a year. "I believe that this has become an unforgettable experience for the students who first entered the new school," said Deputy Akim of the region Dosulan Aitbayev.
According to the head of the district education department Arai Abenova, the teaching staff has started work in full force. Researchers, moderators and expert teachers work here. Today, 58 students have entered the new school. Six children are studying in the preschool preparatory class. A place has also been found in the two-story building for a mini-center, which is currently attended by 10 children.
The school is equipped with modern equipment. There is a multimedia room, chemistry, physics and biology classrooms equipped with various modern equipment, a comfortable library, a spacious gym, workshops, a medical room and a canteen. The safety of students is also a priority. The school fully meets modern requirements.
"My second child went to first grade this year. Here I brought my child to a new school. Now I am happy that my children are studying in such wonderful conditions, in a warm and cozy school. "Compared to the old building, the difference is like heaven and earth," shared Nadezhda Savelyeva, a mother of three.
